*According to Wikipedia, the story behind Summertime Blues is this: the singer hasn’t been able to take his girlfriend out on a date because his boss keeps making him work late. He gets so annoyed that he ends up telling his boss he is sick (even though he isn't) so he can be free to take his girlfriend out. His parents think this is lazy so they stop him from borrowing their car to take his girlfriend out on the date. The situation seems so unfair and so he writes to his congressman to complain. The congressman comes back to him… and low and beyond… completely brushes him off because he is too young to vote!
