The Colonel Bogey March is a British Army march composed in 1914. During World War II, British soldiers sang the lyrics "Hitler Has Only Got One Ball" to accompany the tune. It has also appeared in film, firstly it was hummed by Michael Redgrave in The Lady Vanishes in 1938. Mostly famously it was whistled by a large group of soldiers in the 1957 film 'The Bridge on the River Kwai', set during World War II. For that reason it is sometimes called the "The River Kwai March".
